February 11 at 8:01 am. I'm getting ready for the day in the auditorium and setting up for elective. I'm apprehensive because I have so many students and it feels like I just don't have enough work to keep them all engaged, but I try my best. And that's all I can do.
And each day is a little bit of a reminder that I'm just one person and I'm doing a lot of new things
and I think they're working but sometimes it is hard to keep the crew working together.
Now, if there were maybe 20 students instead of 31 I might feel a little different play I would have
enough for everyone to go around 30 is just a bit too many students to expect to be busy, so I
have them work until I'm done with what I need to have done and then I have them get laptops
and just keep busy, which they don't seem to mind but it bothers me because I'm not really using
it for productive class time but I have three events coming up. So hopefully that will be incentive
enough to keep going and the ones that are interested in doing that seem to just keep doing it. So
I'm hoping that's a sign of some kind of solidarity.
So this is and my three words of yesterday were bask, balk, begin.
