W17D81 (Monday) It is Monday and today went the way it could should. I have ended up doing my best in each of our classes for electives; though not always smooth students have been doing lots of work. For me that means redirecting and supervising all work undertaken. After that, had the Monday group of first graders. There's one student who's been disruptive from the minute school started this fall. Today, he was trying to be disruptive and the rest of the kids just ignored him so our class went along swimmingly, We were able to get through an lesson plan in the class and DS (disruptive student) actually participated in a meaningful way.
I have not yet chosen my new focus student, which should be what I'm doing right now but I've been doing some other things, including starting my unit plan; writing it in the new template. The new format, is pretty simple to follow and I have a good idea who my my focus student is going to be. I just have to go around and get the paperwork done on that as well.
So the week begins with a lot of solid moments in all my classes and I have one k one and one ABA class yet today. Time now to refine.
