(Sunday) The reality of my work has become more real this past week. The student that I am focusing on is, in the words of one the support team, "in crisis". His ability to focus is beyond what can be accomplished on his own. With safety interventions in place, it is hoped that he can be stabilized at school. As I begin writing my essay, it is ever more evident, that so many facets of my work are beyond my control and if I want to thrive in this environs, it is critical to begin to let go of those things, o accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference. The courage, acceptance and wisdom of my work is what I will try my best to focus on this week.
