Today I start working on my passport, a summary of the learning experiences this summer has provided me. It is not the end of my learning, but for now I have to make some summative assessments of my experience for 2 weeks at National Dance Institute. Also it will be hard to separate the Lincoln Center experience from my two weeks at NDI, because the one actually informs the other.
As I enter the second week at home, my focus really will begin to focus on the school year, and the work ahead to adapt my practice and add some of the NDI takeaways.
I will be starting to work on my passport, finishing receipts, uploading photos for the Fund for Teachers program. It is something I feel very adamant about; I love having the opportunity to participate in the fellowship and I want to thank them by giving my best during this assessment phase of my program.
Part of what made this so amazing, was I never expected it. It was an opportunity that I really thought I hadn't been given and the day Katie congratulated me I was shocked beyond belief. I will never take these types of experiences for granted. I feel truly blessed.
