This is the photo Tom took of me as we walked around Lincoln Center early Sunday, the 29th. I saw him off yesterday at 7pm and today I begin my NDI work. Again, I am scared and ecstatic at once. My abilities will be stretched, changed, and tested throughout. I stand firm in my belief that dance changes lives and that to be a better teacher, I must be a better dancer.
With that in mind, the work begins today.
I will take into this week the words, ideas, and belief systems that I was handed over last week at Lincoln Center. My ability to collaborate has been enhanced and I am gaining new insight into what I already do well. Knowing how much this workshop means to me, I will take advantage of everything presented.
Since it is 4:52 at the moment, I will close for now. My reflections will bear more of an impact after I have day one under my belt.
