This was my first FULL week of school. With the extended day, and a full class load (five different classes a day with approximately 20 students in each) by Friday night I was worn out. It was a good week. I started teaching Playwrighting to my 6th grade students, as well as implementing sundry new ideas in my practice for K0, K1, K2 and 1st grade classes. This also includes the Autism strand, PACE 1-5. PACE stands for practical, academic, community education.
The exciting news is, that I found out American Repertory Theater's (ART) education department, is offering me teaching artists to prep students for seeing their production of "Charlotte's Web" in December. They were my number one choice for field work and so this opportunity should serve to fulfill my work in this class.
